El Arish Diggers Museum

The El Arish Diggers Museum is housed in the old Railway Station on Chauvel Street: El Arish. It contains a collection of the town's documentary history and operates under the auspices of the El Arish Community Sports and Recreational Association Inc.

The Diggers Museum is where a dedicated Marie Carmen and her band of volunteers do the serious stuff of archiving and researching the history and culture of our ancestors and what has shaped our unique community. The outstanding job done each year for our ANZA.0 Day march and morning tea at the historical El Arish Hall can also largely he attributed to their efforts.

The Diggers Museum is an intimate venue making II the perfect place for small functions. It has hosted 5 weddings and a virake in recent times.
The Diggers Museum is unmanned most days as it is run by volunteers but contact Marie Carman on 0438 288 412 or email and if it is possible she will be happy to open it up for vou to see our excellent collection of memorabilia._

Great Morning Teas each Friday at 9.30 am with scrumptious freshly baked goodies from the Ladies all i.ivith a bit of history thrown in.
