C4 is a not-for-profit conservation organization located in Mission Beach, Queensland, Australia.
OBJECTS OF THE ASSOCIATION
- Implement the Cassowary Management Plan, Mission Beach environs;
- Promote and support World Heritage Values
- Identify and ensure the retention of environmentally significant areas;
- Liaise with all levels of government and have input into the social, economic and environmental well-being of Mission Beach;
- Maintain a heightened community awareness of environmental issues through education and information;
- Maintain a Land-Gift Fund to protect and secure essential cassowary habitat.
The C4 Display Centre has plenty to offer for visitors to Mission Beach. You can learn about C4, check out the many different nature and children's books on offer and browse through the nursery if you are looking to do some gardening.
